The market on ul. Olkuska in Mokotów has been operating continuously since the 1970s. Its current form was created to bring the street back to life and give Mokotów a place it had been missing. Sellers were chosen over a long time, because the focus was on quality and variety rather than random stalls.
The market is open six days a week. There are fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and seafood, cheeses, bread and pastries, honey, preserves and pressed juices. Next to them there are vegan, gluten-free and organic products, spices and specialities from Italy, France, Spain and Greece.
