The City Market on ul. Kawaleryjska is one of the largest trading sites in Podlasie: almost 90,000 square metres and more than two thousand sales points. The city has set aside an area here where farmers and their household members can sell their produce every Friday and Saturday without any fees. The zone is in sector OW-1, by the car park on the Kawaleryjska side, all year round except public holidays.
Only agricultural and food products and handicrafts made on the farm can be sold fee-free, and only by farmers and their household members. The market also holds occasional weekend farmers' fairs.
