Pan tu nie stał

In 2006 Maciek Lebiedowicz and Justyna Burzynska ran a blog about objects from past decades - well-designed little finds they collected at flea markets and friends' attics. Interest in Polish design grew so quickly that the exhibits were no longer enough. So they began garage production of t-shirts with prints - in Polish, ambiguous, with humor. They have stuck to that rule ever since, even though two people have grown into thirty-two and the t-shirts have turned into a full collection of clothes, accessories and home goods. The brand's headquarters, where the graphic designers, fashion designers and the warehouse all sit, is on Brzezinska street in Lodz. There are two physical stores: one on Sienkiewicza in Lodz and another on Koszykowa in Warsaw. Everything, from buttons and linings through knits and prints to labels and boxes, is made in Lodz and the surrounding area - in cooperation with small, often family-run workshops that Maciek and Justyna know personally.
Every button, every label - from Lodz and the surrounding area
What sets 'Pan tu nie stał' apart?

In Polish, with humor
Dziadostwo, Absztyfikant, Zolza - words that became the brand's signature after appearing on PTNS shirts. Every collection, from Zywicielka through Peleton to Balanga, tells a different story, but they all share the same concise, essential language.
Local production
Every part of a garment - knits, embroidery, prints, buttons, linings, labels - is made in small workshops in Lodz and the surrounding area. Maciek and Justyna know their subcontractors personally, which in practice means direct, close relationships with people who often run small, family businesses.
Seasonal collections
Drzemka and Zdrowko for new parents, Poscig and Damka for keen cyclists, Gorzko and Podrygi for social gatherings. New series are released a few times a year and respond to different needs, but the style stays the same.“In Polish, ambiguous, with humor.”
