Foca Point

In early spring 2020, Kacper Salzman already had his calendar planned out for a whole season of grill catering. Then covid arrived and, almost overnight, everything started getting cancelled, even events with a deposit already paid. In situations like this Kacper acts on instinct: he has to keep busy. He started baking focaccia, the same grill-baked focaccia that had been the hit of his catering for years. He mixed the dough by hand, because he didn't have a mixer yet. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays he got up at five or six in the morning and drove the bread to a butcher's shop himself, in time for opening. At first it was one focaccia on Thursday, one on Friday, three on Saturday. The breakthrough came through a baker he knew, who delivered his own bread to shops around Warsaw and asked for samples. Kacper brought him one focaccia cut into six pieces. The next day he had seven shops instead of one.
People would call to book a catering and start with one thing: as long as there's focaccia.
What comes off the Foca Point grill?

Grilled focaccia
Italian focaccia baked over fire. Classic with rosemary and sea salt, Italian with cherry tomatoes and basil, Greek with olives and feta, or with pumpkin, parsley and aged goat's cheese.
Warsaw only
Foca Point focaccia goes to shops all over Warsaw. Only Warsaw, because it's a very fresh product. Foca Point posts the list of places where you can find it on Instagram.
For events
For company meetings, events and private celebrations, the focaccia arrives together with American-style barbecue meat. It's delivered on the day it's baked, in Warsaw and the surrounding area. It's best to arrange the details at least a day in advance.“This focaccia has always been the hit of our caterings.”
